Hi guys, I will be taking these classes next semester and I would like to hear if any of you have taken similar classes and found them hard. Thanks in advance.
These are my classes:
This depends on the rigor of your school, your professors, and what you personally do well at. I’m bad at math. The Calc class you have would kick my butt, but I’d probably do well in World Religion. The baseline for the courses are the same but it depends on a lot of different factors.
I’m a Religious Studies minor – the course you’re in sounds like a survey class so it shouldn’t be too complex, just learning the basic premise/practices/symbols/mythologies of different religious traditions in the East. You probably won’t delve into any complex theology or anything along those lines.
Intro to Cultural Anthropology should likewise be pretty easy, depending on the professor and how writing intensive the course is overall.
Calc II is notoriously difficult at a lot of schools - typically regarded as a “weeder course.” My Calculus professor told me that the problem a lot of students have with Calc II is that it’s less step-by-step and demands a more analytical recognition of patterns. Very integration heavy.
Human Biology will likely be a lot of blunt force memorization, as are a lot of Biology courses.
Art History can be a pain in the rear - my friend took a couple of Art History courses out of pure interest and he found it to be pretty rigorous relative to his other courses (he’s an Economics major.) I can’t really be any more detailed than that, however.
