Does Penn State have a spring concert like some other schools do? For example one of my best friends is going to UPenn and they have a "Spring Fling" this weekend with Lupe Fiasco performing. I also got into UConn and last weekend they had a Spring Concert with B.o.B. performing. I'm from new jersey and tomorrow at Rutgers they have "rutgersfest" and they have pitbull performing.

Does PSU have anything like this for students?

"O.A.R. is bringing its “Crazy Game of Poker” to State College.

The group was announced as the headliner for Movin’ On 2011, with opening acts Lupe Fiasco and Little Big Town. The music festival will be held from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. April 29 on the IM Field West by Beaver Stadium."

FYI: If you look at the acts and think “Wow those suck” you’re not alone. A lot of students here are upset with the lackluster lineup for the amount of money available to book them. The common sentiment is either “I like Lupe, but don’t give a blank about the others” or “Everyone sucks.”

People need to realize that it is tough to book performers for that time of year because there are a lot of larger music festivals that the bigger names will choose to go to. Just sayin’

In the article, it said one of the reasons for the change of locations (from the HUB Lawn to the IM Fields) was due to construction. Anyone know what they are building in front of the HUB at the moment?
