Spring course load before transfer

I'm applying to transfer as a computer science major from a community college to a university for Fall 2014. How important is the spring (2014) course load right before you transfer? I usually take 14-16 units each semester since that was as high as I could go, but I plan on taking only 12 for this upcoming spring. This would consist of organic chemistry, the lab component, data structures, and a kinesiology class (just so that I can remain a full time student). The reason for this is because I want to make time for part time job(s) (30+ hours) to fund my trip to Europe this upcoming summer. Also, I completed all the prerequisites that I possibly could. Having said this, would the low number of units I plan to enroll make my application not look as good? The private universities I have in mind specifically are Cornell and Georgia Tech. If I wanted, I could take another general education class, but that may make it difficult for me to get a job. Plus, I already exceeded the total number units I could transfer if I were to get accepted.

12 is fine, as long as you spend that time wisely, and it seems like you are! Make sure to include your job and your self-funded trip to Europe in the application. Best of luck!

12 is fine man honestly I would take more
