Hey guys. I was confident I'd get accepted for Fall 2011, but I didn't. I carried a 4.6 WGPA through two trimesters of my senior year and I had a 28 on my ACT. I called my admissions counselor and she said I would be admitted for the Fall, but it turns out that I have a "guaranteed admission for Spring semester 2012." So I called her yesterday and I told her I would still go to MSU, and I would gladly take someone's spot for the Fall. She said I was on the top of her list for the people she was "strongly advocating" for Fall admission. I guess it's a matter of space. Do kids normally get in and when do they find out if they do or don't? I emailed her again today, by the way.

It is not uncommon to received admiision for the Fall term after receiving a Guaranteed admission for the following spring term. You may find out in May or June but you may not find out until mid August. Keep your plans flexible and good luck.
