Pretty satisfied! Not too frustrated about the B in Chem because it’s the hardest/stupidest class I’ve ever taken (terrible teacher who doesn’t even care about Chemistry) and I actually had a C all year, so I couldn’t be happier with my 80.7%.

Yeah but he’s saying that because some people have little to no APs yet somehow have a very high weighted GPA. Obviously they aren’t calculating it right

Think about it: For those that are good at sports, they get their celebrations right away. After a winning goal/basket/etc., someone is congratulated and cheered by hundreds. For those that are good at science fairs or debate competitions, they get award ceremonies to revel in.

But what do people with good grades get? A cold piece of paper and nothing else. Telling people you know of your grades would be social suicide, and not telling them makes you feel as if your hard work goes unrecognized. Why do the athletes, debaters, and science fair winners receive immediate gratification and public celebration, while equally accomplished academics get no such thing?

And so appears this thread. Right here on CC, unnoticed academic giants receive their due recognition.

It is probably showing off a bit, yes. But so is wearing your debate medal or carrying your science trophy around. Sometimes, it’s okay to brag a little.

2/10, would not read to a North Lithuanian alpaca after descending to the deepest valley in the region during a dry season before purchasing a certain amount of tea that I would sell for a precise price in China.
