I am a transfer student and USC is now asking for my spring grades when other people have already gotten their acceptance w/o their spring grades turned in. What does this mean about my chances and who else was in the same situation and has received their admission results???

What year are you? (as in what year will you be when you attend school in the fall)

I'm finishing 2 yrs at CC, and will hopefully be a junior at USC in fall 2008. However, I haven't completed all of the 6 core classes or foreign language and my major requires lots of courses, so I'll probably be at USC for possibly 3 yrs.

a SGR is most common for incoming sophomores but some of the professional schools ask for one if you were taking a pre-requisite or required class your spring semester. Don't look at it as a bad thing. If anything it means they didnt reject you off the bat and they just want your spring grades to make a more educated decision

I hope so. Thanks a lot for the post!
