<p>I just got accepted spring semester an I was wondering how housing works. Ill be a sophomore next semester (16 credits AP, 15 credits from a semester at my old school). I've been told most transfers get put in sylvan regardless of where they select. Is that true? Thanks.</p>
<p>If you’re a science student, Sylvan’s location isn’t bad at all–at the edge of the science and engineering areas.</p>
<p>I hope thats not the case, I got accepted from spring too and from what I have been told, nothing really goes on in Sylvan. I’m hoping that I can still get a spot in southwest</p>
<p>I’m transferring to umass next fall. Disappointing to know that they throw all transfers in sylvan. Hopefully I’ll be able to switch to southwest as well</p>
