Spring intake??

Does any one know of any good schools in Cali that are open to spring admissions? Most of the universities I checked (UCLA, Berkley) are only accepting fall admissions. I really wanna transfer to California (transfer student) but I need Springs admissions or else i might have to take a sem off. Please help. :slight_smile:

I think all the UCs and nearly all CSUs have gone to fall admissions only. Perhaps private school like LMU or USD can accomodate you.

I saw on Ms. Sun’s UC blog, that UC Merced is taking spring admissions and there are several Cal States that offer spring admission for transfers. Channel Islands, Dominguez Hills, Bakersfield, East Bay, San Francisco, Sac State are some schools that offerred Spring transfer admissions last year. Many will have limited majors and you need to contact them to see if they are taking Spring 2016 transfer applicants. Good luck on your search.

I stand corrected. Confirming @ gumbymom’s comment above, UCM and several CSUs will accept Spring 16 transfers. Chico State and others say check back later. Check the web-site of the school you are interested in for a status.

For the OP - Not UCLA or UCB but, there are several viable options open to you.

I’ll check up on those schools. I was a little disappointed since I’m also an international student and I need to apply early for visa purposes. But fingers crossed ill find something in Cal as well as some other states. :smiley:
