Spring Poland Water supply

I drink a lot of Spring Poland water (about 10 bottles per day). Do I have to buy and pile a few boxes in the closet (for saving money), because a bottle of water cost a dollar from the vending machine. Thanks

Actually, you can only get Aquafina on campus, which costs $1.35 per bottle. Most heavy water drinkers I know buy in bulk, so you should probably do that too.

Do they have Poland Spring in N.Y.? I'm from CA but when i visit my grandfather in Maine I drink that stuff all day. The best water period...

yeah, you can get the big packs at target or wegmans for cheap.

... dude, 10 bottles a day, you must have to pee like every 15 minutes. dang!

lol, the recommended daily water intake is 8 L per day, isn't it?

it's 8 CUPS a day.

oops, my bad =P.

Ok in that case, 10 bottles is a bit too much lol.

10 L a day is 5 supermarket size soda bottles of water, or one sixth your body weight if you're a slender person of average height

but there's no such thing as too much water :)

Buy them by the gallon... it's cheapest.

And there was a special on HBO a while ago about some marathon runners who drank too much water and died. It was actually really sad, and kinda scary.

Wow... 10 bottles...
I can hardly drink 2 in a day.

The cells swell up and bursted probably.

A person with two healthy kidneys can rid themselves of about 1.5 litres of water per hour at maximum filtration (other studies find the limit to be as little as 0.9L/hr [1]) . Consuming as little as 1.8 liters of water in a single sitting may prove fatal for a person adhering to a low-sodium diet, or 3 liters in a person on a normal diet.

Yesterday at Cornell Days I noticed someone drinking Poland Spring water. Maybe it was you.

Water is good to dilute all the ammonia and crap, but recent stuff shows that too much could put quite a bit of strain on your kidneys (and nephrons for having to filter it all).

Poor nephrons...

I love water but don't drink too much of it. I drink maybe 2-3 bottles/day and drink tea and milk usually with meals. That way I can balance out the water/sodium/fat/carbs. Ahhh, food science. Anyone a food science major? does Cornell even offer food science? I think they would... "Any person... any study," right? :p

Sorry for blabbing. Now I'll post what I really wanted to mention.

Wegman's sells its own brand water which is also a natural spring water (from Saratoga, I believe?). It is much cheaper (well, like $1.50 less, but when we're talking about $5, $1.50 is a lot), and if you have a Wegman's card, it is even less. i would recommend getting a Wegman's card (simple 3 line application with name/address, etc.) and taking advantage of that.
