I'm so bored, so why not? Lol.

I have a ridiculously easy semester this spring. Can't afford more than 15 credits and need to finally get some of those easy requirements outta the way. Meh.

Looking forward to having French at 10:20 instead of 9:10 this semester…and sleeping in on Wednesdays. :D

my schedule is pretty easy too! Aside from the econometrics course, which I heard is one of the hardest classes within economics.

I’m taking 15 credits:

EC 420: Introduction to Econometric Methods, T Th 10:20am-11:40am
MC 322: International Security, M W 8:30am-9:50am
MC 324A: Regional Politics, Cooperation & Conflict, T Th 12:40pm-2pm
MC 490H: Honors Independent Study (I’m hopefully doing this on the drug trade in Ecuador…on my own time)

Although I don’t have a challenging schedule (no friday classes, only one early class on Mondays & Wednesdays!) I have 2 jobs that take up 30+ hours a week so I’ll still be as busy as ever.

Yeah- I’m going to be working less too, which sucks. The way my schedule is just doesn’t work well with the elementary school. Still working about 20-30 hours between the three jobs, but only Thursday, Friday, Saturday, (sometimes Sunday) rather than every day but Wednesday.

I don’t know what to do with my free time. Maybe I’ll actually get involved with something on campus!

I am an Animal Science major and have been accepted to veterinary school. Just trying to finish up my BS as quickly as possible.

IAH 207 - Lit, Cultures, Identities (I) M W 10:20 AM - 11:40 AM
Th 10:20 AM - 11:10 AM
Witnessing Violence in the Contemporary World.

Hoping for SPN 150 - Review of elementary spanish, to open up

This isn’t my ideal schedule, but I had to do some shuffling and switching because I realized there was no way I could make it from East complex all the way to south complex then back to east complex, especially in the dead of winter. :(

But 13, maybe 18 creds is fine with me for right now.

@psilovethomas - that history class looks really interesting, any idea on whether or not it would meet an IAH or ISS requirement?

Since I’m on the honors college, I can substitute any history class for IAH, so yes, it will.

Oh lucky, but I’m taking that as a “it probably won’t” for a non-honors college student such as myself. Sucks, I would have totally preferred that over any of the other IAH’s. Oh well, hopefully I can find an opening somewhere in my schedule to take it just for the heck of it.

You want to talk about ridiculously easy?

MTH 103 - MWF - I tested into Calculus, but since I took the equivelent to MTH 1825 last semester, I just decided to transfer that over instead, so I can have an easier class schedule.

IAH 241A - MWF - Popular Music in American Life - I needed a class between IAH 211-251 and this was the ONLY open one.

ANP 201 - MW - Sociocultural Diversity - At AOP, NOTHING was open that I needed and I have already taken most prereqs. I was just interested in the class.

As you can see, I don’t have class Tuesdays or Thursdays. Sucks I have it on Friday, but i’ll live. I do have like 2 hour breaks in between each of my classes, but I don’t mind this because it will give me time to work on the homework that I wont have to do on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

The reason I took such an easy schedule is because I’m a transfer, and I want to get into Broad (Business)And I’ve taken all the required prereq business classes, along with classes like Writing, History, etc. and I need to get a semester (A GPA) in at MSU before I can even apply at Broad, so that’s why I took an unusually easy schedule.
