Spring Schedules

I know I'm not the only CCer who gets far too excited about course scheduling. So, what are you taking next semester?

Junior Year:

CS 171: Intro to Computer Science II
ECON 212: Intermediate Macroeconomics
ECON 420: Econometrics
LAT 102: Elementary Latin II
SOC 506: Applied Regression

I was so excited when they released times like a month ago and have had my schedule planned since then :)

Sophomore Year

CSE 379: Intro to Microprocessors (3)
CSE 380: Intro to Microprocessors Lab (3)
EE 205: Signals and Systems (4)
ENG 349: American and English Lit (3)
PHY 207: Physics 3 (4)
PHY 257: Physics 3 lab (1)

So only 18 credits next semester, it shouldn’t be too bad.

Sophomore year:

Calc III/IV (4)
Physics II (no lab) (4)
Stratigraphy (with lab) (4)
Geochemistry (with lab) (4)
Geology Colloquium (1)

Senior year.

advanced research methods 4cr

intro to photoshop 3cr

global health & diplomatic policy 2cr (grad class)

infectious disease epidemiology 2cr (grad class)

golf 1cr

Semester 6 of 7.5, year 4 of 5 (yeah, my school has a weird system; I’m currently doing research full time instead of taking classes.):

CS 3500: Object-oriented design
MATH 2351: Ordinary Differential Equations
BIOL 3407: Molecular Cell Biology
HONR 4907: Honors Project 1 (not a scheduled class - just working on my thesis)
MUSC 1920: Pep band / drumline (1 credit)

I’m taking math and computer science courses as electives (for fun?). Not sure what that says about me, except that I don’t want to die when I go to grad school. The fun part is that all of my classes only have one section, so I have zero choice in my schedule. :(

Freshman year:
MTH 252H: Honors Calculus III (4)
MTH 411: Fundamentals of Geometry (3)
ARB 102: Elementary Arabic II (4)
CSE 271: Object-Oriented Programming (3)
IMS 212: The Design of Play (3)
ART 165: Intro to Metals (1.5)

Yeah, I’m taking on a lot, but unlike this semester, there are no classes here I didn’t want to take (other than CSE 271, which I narrowly avoided credit for by only getting a 4 on the AP).

@nanotechnology: I’d take them for fun even if I wasn’t a math major. I had the same issue for scheduling (except CSE 271), so I made sure to plan everything out in advance, like Mystery101296.

Yeah, checking the times for each of these classes was a stressful experience, hoping that none of them overlapped!

Sophomore:

FRH 215 (Intermediate French II)
WRT 305 (Online; Advanced Writing on Various Topics)
WRT 329 (Composition Studies)
