Hey guys I just got accepted for the Spring semester at Binghamton. I have yet to put down my deposit, because I am unsure of housing. My parents 100% don't like the idea of off-campus housing, plus I don't know anyone I could live with so it would be very difficult for me. I heard on-campus housing is difficult for the Spring, due to limited space so what do you think I should do to guarantee a spot? If i don't get on-campus housing it's likely that I won't transfer, my parents are very strict and are against the idea of me transferring in the first place, let alone the idea of living off-campus (I know a little ridiculous). So, that would mean I would lose my deposit. Any suggestions/advice on what I could do about this?? Thank you.

I’m a student ambassador at Binghamton University and personally, I would recommend putting own as soon as you can if you want on-campus housing. I’m pretty sure that if you call Admissions, they could tell you how many housing spots they still have available or help you work out your options. Their phone number is 607-777-2171.

Thank you so much!
