freshmen, what are you going to do better next semester? what did you do this semester that you regret doing? what didn't you do? what did you learn?

I'M GOING TO GET ACTIVE ON CAMPUS. IF IT KILLS ME. i'm going to attend at least one event every week. my campus has so much stuff going on all the time and i missed out on so many good events and lectures for stupid reasons.

i want to join some art/music clubs. i'm going to major in art and the lack of a visible art/music community (as it seems now) is just killing me. i make art and want to be around people who are interested in making art.

i want to go to the library to do more of my homework. i'm so much more productive in the library and i know i'm so much more productive in the library but i still don't go there to get work done. i mostly just go to browse and stuff. smh. it's hard to want to do work when there are so many cool books around.

I want to get involved in a club/organization that doesn’t have to do with engineering. All my friends are engineers; my sorority is an engineering sorority, and I live on a floor of engineering students. I want to meet more people outside of my major.

I’m going to try to procrastinate less and do better overall in school.

I’m going to get more involved with plays this semester. I really need to start working on them and networking. I’ll never get cast if they don’t know my face! And I’ll never get a job if I don’t have an in somewhere or experience at the very least.

I want to keep my 4.0.

I’m going to work more. Save more of my money.

STOP PROCRASTINATING! I mean, I’m not failing or anything but I got a bit complacent this past semester and my GPA is not as high as it could be because of it. I really need to study for tests for more than a day and keep on top of reading for classes. In general, just make myself do the boring stuff so it doesn’t all build up. Time management is key.

Not a freshman, but…
I want (at least) a 3.5 and to beast in organic chemistry and bio. Um, get another lab placement and/or a job. I also want to join some type of literary club at school.

WORK OUT MORE AND CONSISTENTLY! Get involved on campus. I have one organization in mind that I am dying to join and it’s pretty time consuming, so that’s pretty much covered. Read for pleasure more. Continue to get good grades. Perhaps get a job. Relationship. :)

1) STOP PROCRASTINATING! Ditto.
This is always one of my new year’s resolutions and I still have yet to follow that rule the whole way through … But, this time I need to change because this semester GPA was just disappointing of them all. I’m going to try to start doing my work as soon as I get them.

2) Get involved! I signed up for two clubs in the beginning of the school year, but one I just stopped attending because they never sent me anymore emails for some reason and the other I go occasionally, but I need to join more things.

3) Work out. I never stepped into a real workout gym in my life until college. I only went to the gym 3 times total out of the entire first semester. This time I plan to go to the gym at least twice a week. I’m not fat/big, but it’s always good to stay in shape!

4) Stop being a night owl. I work so much better in the night time, but that’s because it’s when I’m most awake. I now realize that’s because I don’t get enough sleep which makes me tired in the day … So my goal is to sleep by midnight at the latest since I have 8AM classes. (There are some days to allow exceptions)

Workout definately, work harder not lieing!, do more stuff get involved, be more sociable, don’t be afraid to visit counseling when needed, stop being self concious, build confidence, never give into peer pressure, do what you beleive is best, and always have faith in the choices you make.

Overall I want to try to live a good and honest life. I stoped drinking and smoking, trying to live a healthier life.

Now, I just need stop on the porn and I will know I have made a huge improvement in my character. >_<

Study a lot more for and keep up with my important classes like computer science, math, science and get A’s rather than B’s in them next semester.

Lose around 15 lbs, basically eat less and eat more nutritiously. Also go to the gym and swim often.

Do not develop intense unrequited crushes on guys in my classes…be nice and friendly but do not get ahead of myself, hopelessly romantic as I am.

Practice my musical instrument more.

Actually put effort into my appearance rather than put on hats and sweats and hoodies.

Do not anger the roommate (for this I can only pray, as she is like a volcano waiting to erupt) by existing.
