Spring Semester vs Fall Semester and deferring

<p>Hi there!</p>

<p>The problem is that I am not sure what semester to apply for on my application. I was ready to go to college in the fall but because of finance and other issues I may not be able to go then, so I though of just waiting a semester and go during the spring the next year. </p>

<p>But spring semester of the next year is not available on most applications I go through. Is it better to wait until next year to apply for the spring or should I apply to fall semester and request a deferral of my application till the next semester?</p>

<p>Many colleges don’t allow spring admissions. Check each college website. For those that don’t you will have to wait a year. But not all colleges will allow you to do that.</p>
