<p>Just checked online today and was honestly disappointed.
Now I’m debating whether or not I should go for the spring semester or just attend UMBC.</p>
<p>Don’t feel bad about a spring admit. There were many people who sent in their applications for the Nov 1 priority date that are spring admits. (Look down the list of threads)…</p>
<p>The fact is that the acceptance rate for regular admission at UMD is MUCH tougher if you wait to apply until the “regular” date. </p>
<p>Did they offer Freshmen First for fall? If not, you could consider taking classes at your local CC; a good way to take some of the Core requirements (like math, science, etc) and get them done before you get to UMD in the fall.</p>
