Spring Transfer 2010

Anybody get in yet???

also can anyone please estimate on my chances of getting in? Im a currently a freshmen in college who took/taking 34 credits over fall (15) and winter (19) quarter, I also have 20 transferable ap credits (Econ micro, econ macro, environmental science, statistics). My highschool gpa was pretty bad at 3.38 but my SAT score was 2040.

I don’t know the answer.

Were you rejected earlier by UW? What is your current GPA in college?

yea i was rejected earlier. my current gpa is 3.8 right now.

My opinion is that you stand a good a chance this time for two reasons:
[ol]
[] Your strong interest
[] Your improved GPA
[/ol]

Hope admission people see it that way. Wish you good luck!

thnx… im really anxious. But r my chances still great despite the fact that im trying to transfer after 2 quarters?? most transfer students are two year undergraduates…

I’m really nervous/anxious to get in too. I’ll have finished my AA from a Washington community college after winter quarter. I saw some posts on other boards with a bunch of people saying their unofficial transcript has already loaded. Mine hasn’t! I’m so nervous. Admissions says they can let you know as late as mid/late March. The quarter starts on March 28th!

Wow mid-late march is ridiculously late… It seems that the UW Admissions Office is really not putting enough of an effort to inform students with plenty of time regardless of their admissions statuses… Imagine getting in, a few days before the quarter started… 1. You probably won’t get the classes you need. 2. (For my case) I would have to move out of my dorm on short notice.
