Spring Transfer Housing?

Any spring admits that are choosing Chapman? If so, what year are you and where are you planning on living on-campus?

I was a Fall '13 transfer and since they said they’d take part of my grant away if I lived off campus, I decided to live in the Panther Village student apartments. It’s been pretty good so far, sharing a 2bedroom loft apartment with one other person. We each get our own bathrooms.

If you have any other questions let me know!

How did you go about doing that? I turned in my housing application and there is no option to choose a preferred housing. It is basically just a roommate compatibility test and a $50 fee.

How long is the commute from Panther Village and is there a lot of upperclassman that live there (JR+)?

Nvm haha just got an email asking for my housing preferences. How do you like Panther Village? Are the shuttles convenient?

Sorry for the late response!

Panther Village is really nice. The shuttle is like every 30 minutes until midnight during weekdays. If you do want to drive to campus, it takes about 6-7 minutes usually depending on the time of day, but I never need to drive to campus, except when I have night classes at the film school which is like a block or two away from main campus, where the bus drops off.

Panther Village is definitely mostly juniors and seniors, with a few grad students too.

Haha thanks for the response. Did anyone get their housing assignments yet?
