Spring Transfer Out of State

So I've been reading some of the threads here and was wondering how often are out of state tuition waivers given and what are the requirements to get one? I live in illinois and my stats are in this thread: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/transfer-students/1206911-chance-me-new-transferring.html Also can I do spring transfer if i will have 28 credits at the end of this semester (only have 9 right now.)

Thanks

bump I would really like to know the requirements for a out of state tuition waiver. I’d prefer not to rush the app more than I already will be.

thanks

^Have you googled that? Or perused the TAMU and/or financial aid websites? You may be able to find your answers there, in black and white.

You are not eligible for spring transfer from what admissions told my daughter. You have to have 24 hours complete at the time of the application deadline for a spring transfer. Hours at the end of fall semester are too late. This differs for fall transfers. They will consider your spring hours if necessary. You should get in touch by email with an admissions counselor. They are quite helpful.

Yeah I found this out a week ago =(. I guess since spring transfer is not allowed I’ll take the other schools more seriously since financial aid will probably be better. Thanks for the responses though!
