Hi Everyone! I am currently a rising sophomore at Rutgers University and I applied for transfer to a couple schools. I got waitlisted at my dream school, Claremont McKenna, and just found out that I didn't make it off of the waitlist. Luckily, the allow spring transfer! But, I am a bit concerned about the entire situation. Overall, I wanted to transfer because I am not clicking with the atmosphere of the school and how big it is and what not. So, I was really hoping to get in somewhere my sophomore year and get settled into the school. Now I can't help but feel sad because even if I get into my dream school for the spring semester or any other school for the junior year fall semester, I will feel like I missed out a ton. I can't help feeling this sad but does anyone have any perspective about what life is like as a sophomore spring/ or junior transfer? How hard was it to make friends and did you feel as if you still enjoyed the school as much as the other students who had been there for four years? Thanks so much!

Wow that is such a minor thing. Getting in at all is the prize. The other stuff is small adjustment stuff. Tough to be so close.
