<p>Other than the seasons is there a difference in transferring in the spring and the fall semester? Is it harder to transfer in the spring than in the fall semester? </p>

<p>Most transfers enter in the fall, so it’s likely easier to get to know people and learn the new system.</p>
<p>Unless a school gives stats on their website, I don’t believe the CDS gives transfer data for sp vs. fall.</p>
<p>Thanks, I am mainly asking for schools that offer spring transfer like notre dame and I think UCLA, M.I.T, and emory. I am thinking about transferring during the spring but afraid that since Fall might have fill up most of the transfer space that it will make spring transfer more difficult. I have little concern about knowing people or learning the new system because I don’t mind reaching out. What does CDS mean?</p>

<p>One more thing, since most need based FA is given out before the new academic year starts, it may be limited for sp transfers.</p>
