I'm a freshman for Fall 2007 and will probably be applyin for a transfer to a higher univ. So is a spring transfer more feasible than a fall transfer?

If you are planning on transferring this spring, the answer would be no. From what I've seen, most colleges don't accept transfers after only one semester of college work. There are typically fewer transfer spots available in the spring so your best bet would be to apply for fall transfer. If I'm wrong on this feel free to correct me =)

wait but if you are applying for transfer during spring 2008 ( for fall 2008 admission) wouldn't they only have access to one semester of college work anyway as opposed to applying fall 2007 for spring transfer (spring 2008) with absolutely no college grades to show?

i meant fall 2008..yeah ur correct about the spring credits...

Many more colleges accept fall transfers than do spring transfer. So you need to check the specific schools of interest to see when they accept transfers.

For most of the more selective schools, you wouldn't be able to transfer in for Spring 2008 - you'd have no college grades for them to look at. I'm sure there are some schools where you could walk right in, but not among the selective group.
