Spring Transfers

<p>hey, i just wanted to see if there was anyone on this board who was accepted as a spring transfer--- particularly as a freshman. i just got accepted and hope to transfer in january.</p>

<p>is it unheard of to transfer as a first year student mid-semester? i mean, i'm sure if they accepted me then stuff like that happens. i just never hear anyone talk about it.</p>

<p>also, i emailed the transfer coordinator about financial aid and waiting for a reply. since i'm still a freshman, will i be assessed as a freshmen for financial aid or transfer? i would like to get the 16-22k awards, for i think the transfer 10k won't cut it for the next 5 years (architecture).</p>

<p>yea, u can get accepted mid semester, its very common, just most schools dont allow it, but in ones that do, like tulane, it just means you applyed and got in earlier</p>

<p>Question to OP, what r ur stats? (college gpa, hs gpa, ECs) cause im applying to transfer to tulane for fall semester and i wanna know what u got in with. Did you get an financial aid, how much?</p>

<p>despite what hostiletakeover says, mid-year transfers are not common at tulane since this is the first year they have allowed a mid-year transfer.</p>
