Spring Transfers

<p>Hello hello</p>

<p>I'm now in my 2nd semester in college and have my heart set on transferring. I was waitlisted to UW Madison out of high school, and have since proven myself as a serious college student. Unforunately, I missed the deadline for fall 2010 transfer. I was wondering whether anyone had any personal experience or knowledge of spring transfers at UW. Is housing offered? Is the transition difficult? </p>

<p>There will be some openings for the spring semester in Res Halls as some students leave- transfer, semester away, etc. You may as well transfer the first semester you can. It will not be like being a new freshman- you already know how college works. Your desire to be there will influence how easily you adjust- positive motivation always helps any change.</p>
