Yea, so I got this letter from Notre Dame saying they want me to visit their campus and that they will pay for all of my expenses. Did anyone get something similar to this? Does this mean my chances of getting in are good?

Ohh, and does anybody know that if by "all expenses paid" they mean they will pay for everything up front or that you pay first and they'll reimburse you later?

Thanks.

Most likely they will reimburse you...

Other than that though, what the heck? I want to go on a Spring Visitaiton Weekend.

Well, apparently they have only 4% Asians at Notre Dame... and the letter was from the Diversity Recruitment Director.

So, basically like the only time Affirmative Action hasn't worked against me.

If you're invited to Spring visitation then you're IN! When my sister went, she met alot students who could have gone to more elite schools. It's a way Notre Dame persuades more minorities like yourself to attend the univsersity.
Good Luck! ;)

Do they only invite you if you haven't been to the campus before? I visited in January (they know that I did), and I hope that's the reason I didn't get an invitation to Spring Visitation.

Hmmm I'm not sure...I've never visited before so that may be it.
But I think it mostly has to do with whether or not you're a minority.

So Asians are considered URMs at ND? I'm Asian, so I hope that's the case.
