<p>Can anyone give me any experiences with sprint as their carrier on their cell phone for brown? Does it get good service? Any issues?</p>
<p>I don’t know if it’s changed but in 2005-2008 it was horrible. I had much more limited and weaker service than my friends on att or Verizon.</p>
<p>That hasn’t changed much. Verizon and AT&T remain the two most popular providers on College Hill.</p>
<p>My daughter graduated in 2011. She mostly had fine service from Sprint all the time. Occasionally no, though, which was probably fine with her.</p>

<p>I use Virgin Mobile, which uses Sprint’s network, and was in Prov and at Brown dropping my D at Summer@Brown last week.</p>
<p>It was meh. On campus it was fine - in D’s dorm room, on the green and in the couple of buildings I was in I had no problem.</p>
<p>On the commercial part of Thayer St and around College Hill, I often lost signal. Coming from OH, where Sprint is amazing, I was disappointed.</p>
