::squints:: stupid question...

So I took the SAT II for lit...kinda on a whim- and in rethinking it would have been good to take it for US History, since i just finished up that class-
but anyways...

I got a 720 for Lit... is that good, or bad, or... nn. I feel like i should have known this before i took it, and i know that it's out of 800...but what's average for SAT II's? I live in the Midwest and no-one around here even takes the SAT, let alone the Subject Tests... But i'm looking on the east coast for schools, and figured it'd be a good idea to take... aah. rambling again. Basically, i had no idea what to expect, and i have no-one to compare to...

Thanks. And sorry for blatent stupidity.

Actually, Lit is a pretty difficult test, so congrats! I think the nationwide average for Lit is in the high 500s. You're pretty much set unless you think you can attain a higher score the second time around. However, most people find Lit to be subjective and hard to predict. So it's really what you're comfortable with. In general, most people are satisfied with 700+ scores, which are VERY good. But you may have noticed that CCers tend to reach for the high 700s (most people consider 750 a cut off mark for retaking). But it depends on how comfortable and confident you are with taking Lit a second time. :)
