Srar issues?

I applied to Pitt yesterday through common app. I see this morning that Pitt downloaded my application. However, I got no email asking me to fill out the srar. I’m worried because I entered my information through the Pitt srar link and now the linked date is empty for Pitt. Please let me know what to do.

Go to SRAR site - https://srar.selfreportedtranscript.com/Login.aspx.

Create an account. Enter your transcript information - It’ll take at least an hour (maybe if you are fast, less).

Make sure that information is there. Copy down the SRAR number that they give you after you affirm that you are finished with filling out the info. This is just in case.

They are suppose to send you a email confirming that they have your information. Not sure my son actually got that. But we resigned in and all the information was there.

Then, you have to LINK to the school. It’s somewhere on the page after you sign in - section called, "Linked to Third-Party Applications. They ask you for your name, email that the common app is using, etc. AND it’ll ask you for your CAID (common app ID) - in the common app - it is in the upper right of the screen under your name.

I’m not sure if we could have linked right away. We filled this out 2 weeks prior to linking.

I guess we are not waiting for the email inviting us to register with

This will provide the fastest answer to see if he is accepted.

On the left side, under Admissions, there is a menu item called “Accept/Decline Admissions”. When clicked, it shows the buttons in the main pane. It has previously been reported that official acceptance letter arrives shortly after this status change.
