Okay Internet, maybe you’ve been through this already…
Son completed SRAR for Virginia Tech successfully.
Now, trying to submit to Pitt.
When he logs on the the Pitt branded SRAR website, after being directed to the home page, it tells him to click continue to review SRAR. After clicking continue, it DOES not go to a page to review the SRAR. It goes immediately to a page telling him that it was submitted with a confirmation number.
Sounds good, right?
But, in the “Associated/Linked Colleges & Universities” section, there are are NO dates next to the University of Pittsburgh. Its empty. He’s been trying for 3 days, and nothing.
Also, no entries in the “SRAR Updates” section pertaining to Pitt.
Scarlet computing hasn’t exactly been helpful either.
That’s very weird! I’m not sure how to help you with that. The SRAR is quicker, but Pitt says you can send your high school transcript instead, which would mean a longer processing time. I actually submitted the SRAR and sent the transcript since my school requires us to send transcripts through naviance after applying.
Thanks @fizzile. Scarlet computing helped us out after several emails. Phew!
Had same situation but we were actually done with it for all schools. We were on the pitt masthead for the srar and thought we were just reviewing it and finally clicked submit. Then we learned that once you click submit it is then one and done, final for every school in addition to any others that require it. HAD NO IDEA IT FUNCTIONED THAT WAY. Very misleading as every school places their branding at the top of the screen.
The Srar asks if they have “intro to Science” and some confusing language around courses. You would all you to share all the science courses my daughter took. How is that beneficial rather than her transcript? Should she still submit just to speed up the process?
