for my essays i was thinking of writing something about how i used to be petrified of public speaking (literally, i was mortified), but then i overcame that fear when i joined mun and went to a few conferences, by my third one i was comfortable enough to speak in front of a huge crowd with about 500 people and i won an award for public speaking, then last summer i went to oxford university for a month and took a course in international relations, it was incredibly fascinating, and the london bombings occured when i was there, which, although horrible, really made me look at the world around me and how what i had been learning in the classroom tied into the real world

i also started a fundraiser for greenpeace... uh which is... so far pretty unsucessful, but its gaining momentum

chances? i know its a stretch for anyone, but how MUCH of a stretch is it for me
