SSAT and ISEE scores?

I recently took the ISEE and my scores were:

Verbal: 83 percentile
Quantative Reasoning: 85%
Mathematics Achievement: 77%
Reading Comprehension: 55%

These are horrible scores and I'm applying to Exter, Andover, Middlesex, Deerfield, and St. Mark's School. These schools have already recieved my scores. I can't retake the ISEE. Is it worth the money to try again and take the SSAT?

Which stanines did your scores fall into? (You don’t have to answer, I’m just pointing out that you shouldn’t panic.) I’m not an expert, but I think the stanines are more important for the ISEE than the percentiles.

I don’t suppose it could hurt to take the SSAT. On the SSAT, you may opt to receive the scores first, and send them to schools if you think they’ll help.

Stanines were 7, 7, 6, 4.

If you were my child, I’d recommend taking the SSAT. The reading comprehension seems out of line with the other sections.

ehh, I’m taking the SSAT in December.
