SSAT - L'ville Peddie Blair

My 8th grade son's applied to Peddie Lawrenceville and Blair. Not necessarily the order of his preference. He plays football, basketball and lacrosse. He's an all around kid and his interviews seemed to go well, especially at Blair. He gets mostly borderline A's with a B at times. He writes well for his age. His SSAT scores are 89% verbal, 71% math, 76% reading and 83% combined. Everything I read tells me that Blair and Peddie have an average SSAT of around 71% and Lawrenceville around 81%. What do you think his chances are for each/ And, what do you think about each school? Thanks for the help.

Your son is in the running at Blair and Peddie. I don't know about Lawrenceville. If he is a talented athlete, that will help, no doubt.

If you have any questions about Blair, feel free to ask here or send me a private message. My son is on his third year there, and it has been a very positive experience.

Thank you Burb Parent. We loved Blair when we went for the interview and tour. We felt very comfortable with everyone we met. The Dean of Admissions was a very nice person to deal with. Just a very warm place.
