SSAT or ISEE?

I've taken both the SSAT and the ISEE and now I can't decide which one to send to which school. I'm applying to the following schools:

SSAT Only
- Lawrenceville
- Taft

SSAT Preferred, ISEE Accepted
- Andover
- Choate

SSAT or ISEE
- Exeter
- Hotchkiss

Here are my percentiles for ISEE (I'm an 8th grade male):

Verbal- 57 (I know, it's bad)
Reading- 95
Quantitative- 98
Mathematics- 99
For the essay, I did two full pages and I think it was pretty good.

Here are my percentiles for SSAT:

Verbal- 70
Math- 99
Reading- 77
For the essay, I did one full page and I think it was pretty bad.

I know for Lawrenceville and Taft I have to send the SSAT, but for the other schools, which one should I send? And for Lawrenceville and Taft, should I send my scores or re-take in December?

Thanks!

What was your overall percentile on the SSAT?

Those weren't too bad of scores, I think you'd be better off sending the ISEE to those schools.

My SSAT overall percentile was 88, what is usually the norm for those schools?

For the ISEE, I'm just worried about the terrible verbal score, as 57 is pretty low...

Well, it seems kind of 6 to 1. The ISEE had stronger math/reading scores, but your SSAT was more consistent and lacked the 'bad' SSAT score.

If you don't mind eliminating Taft and Lawrenceville, than I'd use your ISEE - especially since you essays were supposedly strong.

You can probably use either one and get the same reaction from the schools, but if I were you I would probably use the SSAT scores just because they are very consistent. For any of your reaches, however, I would use the ISEE scores because of your stellar scores, and maybe that will help you get noticed more.

Why not send both?

WHOOPS. I realized a typo... I meant "but your SSAT was more consistent and lacked the 'bad' verbal score"

I didn't know you could send both? I don't think you can.

you can send multiple ssat scores, why can't you send a ssat and isee score?

there are pretty good

i mean they are pretty good sorry
