<p>800 does actually exist--that's what I made on math. Ask if you can read your friend's entire score report. That usually clarifies issues about scores.</p>
<p>I am looking at the score report and can confirm that the numbers in the post were as reported. The score I don't understand is the Reading score, considering that all the questions were answered correctly.</p>
<p>Strange about getting everything correct, but not getting the 800. I don't know how they do the calculations.</p>
<p>D'yer: I am looking at a score report where the Verbal is 794, and it was computed from:</p>

Analogies: Right 28 Wrong 2 Omitted 0</p>
<p>But the odd thing about the SSAT is that different grades take the same test, but then are scored within their own grade. So maybe 7 questions wrong can give a 794 for grade 8, but you can only get 1 wrong to get a 794 if you are in grade 9. The SSAT web site doesn't get very specific with how the scores are computed. Maybe one of the prep books explains how they scale everything, but I don't have one of those here to examine.</p>
