Ssat prep school scores

In a month I am going to be taking the SSAT for the top boarding schools. I will be applying to be placed as a freshmen. I was wondering what is the average SSAT scores for a freshmen at the top boarding schools listed below:

Phillips Exeter Academy

Northfield Mount Hermon

Taft

St. George's

Lawrenceville

Deerfield

Hotchkiss

Miss Porter's

Madeira

St. Paul's

Emma Wilard

Westminister

Mercersburg

Milton

This sort of info can be found on Boarding School Review. For example, here is the page for Phillips Exeter:
[Phillips Exeter Academy - Exeter, New Hampshire/NH - Boarding School Profile | Boarding School Review](Phillips Exeter Academy (2023 Profile) - Exeter, NH)

Scroll down and you’ll see the SSAT number under the “Admission” section of facts and figures.

Note that many have questioned the accuracy and up-to-dateness of the info on that site. Most of the schools should be able to tell you what the average is for admitted students. In our experience in the admissions cycle two years ago, AOs at more than one selective school said something to the effect of “We like to see scores in the high 80-percentile and above. At that point, the score will not have a negative impact on a candidate’s chances for admission.”

One more thing: There will be a wide range of average SSAT scores for schools on your list.

Here is an easier way to display a lot of schools’ stats all in one table.

Click off all the all the boxes, except for “Average SSAT percentile”"
[Sort Boarding Schools by Key Criteria | Boarding School Review](Sort Boarding Schools by Key Criteria)

You can then sort the list alphabetically, by clicking on the column titled “Boarding School”
