ssat/psat scores == chance!

hi

im a rising junior and applying to exeter, andover, hotchkiss, choate, and kent.

this was super last minute so i took the ssat and didn’t get the score i wanted – here is the breakdown:
reading: 98
math: 85
verbal: 78
overall: 94

i feel like i shouldnt submit these scores, especially because the schools im applying to are all pretty top tier.

however, i think my psat scores would be best, here is the breakdown:
math: 99
reading/writing: 97
overall: 99

in this case, submitting my psat scores would probably be best right? thanks. also, is there any way to send my score reports directly to the schools? thank you so much!

Those scores are likely equal. The PSAT is all students ( or most) taking the test. The SSAT is only the students applying to private schools ( a more select group of students). Either way, both are good scores. You can send the scores from within the testing company web sites ( sign into you account and then send).
