I'm in the 10th grade, and I'm applying to Exeter for the 11th grade. This year I took the PSAT, and last year (9th grade) I took the SSAT. My question is this:
1) What scores (national or just basic SSAT percentiles) are more important? My SSAT percentile (based on how many questions I got right and wrong) or the National Percentile where I'm compared with other people? I have Verbal: 85% Math: 98% and Reading: 96% as part of the SSAT national percentile scores. My actual SSAT percentiles are considerable lower. Which one will exeter look at?
2) Should I send this SSAT score report to Exeter with my transcript even though I took it last year?
3) Are my scores good enough? (I know other things go into the admissions decision, I just want to know how I stack up against other applicants.)

the percentiles are definitely more important! the nationals really don't matter that most at all. you need to send your most recent ssat but you can shend last year's too if you want.

I'm pretty sure the schools will want you to have a current (meaning THIS school year) test. You should check with them though and see what test as a current 10th grader they want.

Ignore the national percentile. Schools do not use that . Instead, they look at the SSAT percentile (which is always lower than the other number.) Keep in mind, more and more schools are moving away from the percentile scores and are using the scaled score (on same scale as SAT.)
