SSAT Raw Score

Hi,

Over the weekend I took my first practice SSAT, and I scored a 2250. I'm in the 10th grade, and I am a male. Would anyone know what percentile range that would be in? Thanks a lot!!

The 99th percentile according to this website: http://professionals.collegeboard.com/profdownload/sat-percentile-ranks-composite-cr-m-w-2010.pdf

That chart is for SAT, not SSAT. It varies not just by grade and gender, but from year to year, so it’s hard to say, but I don’t think it would be 99%–however, I think it would be fine.

We need someone with an SSAT 'tile chart from one of the prep books. I think I threw my daughter’s out but I’ll check…

according to my princeton review book, its between 80 and 86 percentile. btw that’s scaled score

Where in PR. I can’t find it.

Thanks a lot. What would require a 90% SSAT, out of curiosity?

^^ditto Portal

page 188 onwards. for 90% you need around 2300. I suggest you get the book, then you’ll be able to see the split up of marks they suggest etc
And that page took me about half an hour to find yesterday, its well hidden!

Thanks so much! I’ll definitely try to buy one.

For girls, the 90th percentile ranges around 2175-2220. For boys, the 90th percentile is 2220 above. 2220 for girls is 93 percentile, so I think boys are graded harder than girls. This is for eighth grade btw.
