<p>I just got ssat scores back 93% not amazing but decent i guess. I thought i had totally failed and got in like the 60th % by reading how everyone else had done and thier scores had gone down. This is the first time ive taken it. I just got the notion to go to boarding school in early Jan. And after taking the ssat's i honestly thought i would have gotten in like the low 60th percentile so i really stopped trying on my application. I wrote my essay but thats it. Do i still have time to get teacher recs and go for an interview before feb 1st?

<p>To be honest, you don’t have much time. You will probably be late and that’ll affect you chance a bit, but not tremendously. Are you applying to enter as a junioror are you a junior right now?</p>

<p>getting in as a junior is really tough so i heard…Andover excepts only 20 a year…did you ever consider applying as a repeat sophomore? they take in about 70 each year.</p>

<p>yes i play on my schools varsity soccer team, we are state and nationally ranked, i also play on one of the top teams in the region. along with 2 other teams just for fun. I was voted MVP twice at an all state tournament. Also if it helps im a URM. I also do dance and varsity track and field but soccer is my main sport.</p>
