SSAT Scores Jan. 7th

Hello! People on the internet! I just received my SSAT scores in the mail today, and I have to confess that I am rather disappointed at the score that I have received. It is better than the scores last time by around 6 percent. I wonder if I should send in both, or should I send in the best one? I am very upset right now, I never thought that I would only receive a 2187!!! Grrrr. That is in the 87th percentile.

November January
Verbal- 722 82% Verbal- 704 74%
Math- 743 76% Math- 761 85%
Reading- 686 72% Reading- 722 92%
Total- 2151 81% Total- 2187 87%

Is this January one good? I know that it is OK, but is it enough to get into schools like Peddie? Hun? or Lawrenceville and Andover? I have mediocre essays and mediocre recs and ECs. Honest opinions please? Should I move this to the chances section? Thank you for your time!

Send both - the schools will usually “mix and match” to get the best scores. So you get the benefit of your higher verbal score from November, combined with your other high scores from January.

I know two girls who got into Exeter with 83%, and Lawrenceville with 89%. They both applied for grade 10. The one in Lawrenceville is pro at CoD.

Send the January one, of course.

Lol at Enemy of The Sun. Like seriously pro at CoD? I guess everyone plays games no matter where they go:)
Thank you dodgersmom!

bump…

No matter which one you send, they will be able to know both.

My 7th grade son is CoD 9th Prestige. I thought his efforts were a waste of his youth, but now I undertand that he has L-ville in the bag. :)
