@peach0708 how did you study for the Verbal and Reading? What do you think helped you score high in those two?
The online SSAT reading practice test was helpful-- for Verbal the book was helpful, as well as the SSAT app - but found test to be harder than the book questions. One passage came from a short story that we read for school last year-- questions on SSAT were inconsistent with the themes & inferences given in class – so even if you may be familiar with a passage, SSAT may be looking for something different
Thanks, @Golfgr8. I’ve heard about such inconsistencies. But they say respond to questions using only knowledge from the passage, and not anything you know from elsewhere. Tough one to crack, I guess.
