have anyone taken the pratice SSAT test from kaplan or princton????

My son took the practice SSAT tests from the Princeton Book. It helped him get familiar with types of questions asked. He took the SSAT test in November.

how hard is this test??

wow...intense kids

Hey I just took the SSAT again!!!! I think I did really well!!!

Hey guys,
I'm an upper (11th grader) at Phillips Exeter. Gandalfmight- i'm glad you're so interested in the academy. If you or anyone else has any more questions, feel free to e-mail me at mjia@exeter.edu or post questions in this thread (though I don't check this site too often).

I applied to 8 schools, Exeter being my top choice. I got a 93 on the ssat, lots of community service and i'm a swimmer. My interview went really well. I didn't finish the essay on the ssat. I was half a sentence short. How bad is that?

If you applyed to 8 ur going to get in At LEAST one....personally i like my public high school! Im GLAD! i didnt go to PEA!.....but you never know....it could have been a great experience....

Dont kill yourself over half a sentence if the rest was well written...if you go to exter drop over by my house and say Hi! : )

Edit: Ok....fine i dont "love" my school...heck we had a bomb scare the other day....not to mention the average of 2-3 fights daily....the other day a kid died from a drug overdose...never mind the "glad i didnt go to pea.....

Cfunk ~ you have to tell me what collage you get into! (your a senor now right)

Hi guys. I don't know if any people who are applying for the Class of 2010 @ PEA are on this forum... but hopefully, if they are, they'll see this and respond!

Just thought I'd start a post up for when the acceptance (or rejection) letters start coming March 10!

Got a 94 Math, 94 Reading and an 86 Verbal. I am applying to Exeter, Andover, and Choate. Do Tennis, Cross-Country, Horseback Riding. Interview at Choate went the best. Hopefully I will at least get into that school.

wow, this thread is more than a year old....
well my scores were so much better than i expected that when i saw it, i cried.

ha me too. i expected like 70 percentile or something, which isnt that bad when you think about it, better than 70% of smart kids? but

98 math

98 reading

84 vocab/analogies :(

i did well on the vocab, but my analogies made my score plummet. analogies should die! thank god there are no more analogies on the SAT.

96 percentile overall, its ok, i guess :( (damn analogies!!) i took this in november for the 1st time and was pleasantly surprised to see that i even got into the nineties. i decided not to take it over again. ssat score isnt that important, anyway. i focused more on the interview.

95% overall for me. 99 math, 81 :( :( :( analogies, and 90-something for reading.

Its all right, I suppose.

for the percentiles i got 99 math 97 reading and 94 vocab, i think. but for the actual scores, my vocab was around eighty something. but then my overall was 96, so i was happy.
