I was wondering what your guys' SSAT scores were like and what school(s) you've applied/rejected/waitlisted/accepted to.

Also, does anyone reccommend any books to study from? I'm only in seventh grade, so I have a while to prepare. I took the sample test online and I only got 85% correct. (Ahh!)

i got 96 percentile but didnt study. even though studying from an SSAT book may raise your score, it doesnt mean your score may rise from a say, seventy percentile to ninety-nine percentile. the ssat is an exam that you sort of have to prepare your whole life, from the time you were young, the skills and vocab that you learned.

besides, i wouldnt get so nervous. the ssat is a small factor. its something to worry about SOMEWHAT if you got like, a sixty percentile on, but if i were you i'd concentrate more on your grades, ets, etc. look at me - i got 96 which is very decent but still got rejected from one school and waitlisted by a better one. the schools dont look at your score too much, to tell you the truth

Secondary School Admission Test. It's a test that you must take to apply to some private or boarding schools.

um. i got a 91st percentile on the ssat but was rejected by exeter and waitlisted by andover
