What did you guys all get? I was pretty disappointed... im a freshman now but i guess the competition is greater since its easier for higher grades. I got a 96 % but i only got very few wrong and two of my sections went to high 80s..

that's a respectable score. you should not be disappointed.

As Chi said, your score is perfectly fine. Don't let the million perfectionists on here saying: "OH I GOT A 99 PERCENTILE ON EVERYTHING! That 99.9% acceptance rate school will never accept me now!" tear you down. That's perfectly fine.

I agree ThatsHowIRoll!

hollaber,
I suppose I agree with the other two, but if I can't honestly believe you think a 96 is bad, and if you are disappointed by it; you truly don't deserve the 96. Posting that your disappointed by a 96 on here is just going to offend all the people on this board who didn't make anywhere near that high and SHOULD ACTUALLY BE WORRIED about their score. Sorry, but I think you came off as a bit arrogant.

Sorry for the rant. =/

Yeah really

I got an 87%. I would do ANYTHING to have a 96% ANYTHING!!!!!

Even Andover doesn't have an average SSAT that high. Your really being ridiculous and that lowered my self confidence a ton!!

I took the SSAT quite a while ago, as in like three or four years ago, and I think I was somewhere around 85-90? That was when I was an eighth grader -- I'm in eleventh now.

And for real, to everyone who honestly feels disappointed when they recieve anything less than perfect, I'm sorry, but get over it. It's not a big deal. I know this may surprise you, but you are more than a test score. There are so many more parts that schools look at: grades, academic rigor, your passions, your interview, what you've said in your essays, what other people (your teachers and other recommenders) have to say about you!

And in all honesty, 96% of kids wish they had your score. Take that 96 and cultivate it into a high SAT score if it really bothers you that much.

I bet you about half of those people that said they got a 99% didn't.
Just my thought.

dude, you're fine, just relax and hope for the best. that's a great score

I doubt anyone would lie about their SSAT score. That just seems pathetic to me lol.

i got an overall 92, but with a 76 in verbal. dont you think about being discouraged with a 96, remember some kids got 1s and 2s.

You did an amazing job! You shouldn't worry about it. :]

90 here, did pretty alright, was a bit dissapointed with my verbal since I felt that I really knew 50 of the answers for sure. Does anybody notice how everyone on this board have at least a 90 something?

haha =] yes!i was wondering about that.about 49.5% of the people here are saying they got a 95 or higher.and about 10% ish are saying they got a 99 percentile.haha(:

well not me!i did so badly in the vocabulary part that it REALLY brought down my total score. :

Haha I also doubt anyone would lie about their SSAT score.

But 96% is MORE than great. Stop being so hard on yourself! It is not a bad score at all.

Yeah! That's better than 96% of the world! :D
