I just took the SSAT Test and I also took one in January of this year to apply for a different school. I ended up getting in but did not attend that school. I was wondering, if my score from January was higher than this one? Can I submit that one?
You can’t use test scores from previous school years. While you took it in 2017, you didn’t take it in the 2017-2018 school year so it can’t be used. You were also in a different grade, so schools don’t accept it because it wouldn’t be an accurate depiction of your abilities. You may have even taken the Middle Level, assuming you are an 8th grade applicant and were in 7th grade last year, and private high schools don’t accept a Middle Level score.
