<p>I took the SSAT today, and I think I did great. However, I think I screwed up the writing sample. Maybe it had to do with the fact that the heat was off the whole time (it was the same temp inside and outside)!! Do you think the writing sample is weighed so much that I should consider a retake, or do schools really only care about your application essays? Thanks for any help, I'd love to save my parents an extra $120.</p>
<p>I don’t think it’s really worth it taking it again, especially if you did well in the scored part of the test. Focus on your applications to make them the best, and especially focus on your writing style and articulation. But, that’s just my opinion.</p>
