Ssn

I think I may have written in the wrong Social Security number. So what will happen and what do I do?...

When you registered or on your answer document?

I think on both. Not sure. May on one of them, dont know which though

If you put the SAME wrong SSN on both, your scores should be available without delay. However, if you put down colleges when you registered, the reports will have your wrong SSN on them and the colleges might have trouble matching them to your application record. To remedy this, you can either contact each college later and tell them what SSN to look under, or you can try to call ACT now and see if they can fix your SSN before those scores go out. Worst case, you might have to correct your SSN and then send those scores again for a fee.

Now, if you put down two different wrong SSNs, or put the wrong one once and the right one the other time, your scores MIGHT be delayed while they match your test to your registration, and there's no telling which SSN will end up on your score reports. Calling ACT to try to correct it might prevent a delay in releasing your scores, and you'll want to make sure they have the right one anyway so colleges can find your scores. The contact numbers are here at the ACT website--not sure if you want Registration or Score Reports, but it looks like Registration is open later.
