<p>It's the last day for me to decide and I just wanted CC's input on the matter. This summer I have the choice of going to either SSP or the Garcia program. I was wondering about the merits of each program and some advice on which to choose. As of now, I'm probably going to go to Garcia because of SSP's lack of research but I just wanted to be prudent and make sure.</p>
<p>Both programs are good. At this point, it really depends on which you like better. I’m in the same predicament too: MITES or a local research internship.</p>
<p>I agree with NO, it really depends on what you want to research. If you are leaning more towards astronomy, then go to SSP. If you want to do materials engineering, then go to Garcia.
