<p>It's too bad we couldn't have international students at Socorro, that would have been cool. I had the same problem with not having an ID. I went to the Department of Motor Vehicles here in town and filled out a form, and they just issued me a state ID card. You're probably fine with a permit.</p>

<p>It's 3:18 am. My flight is in 4 hours...I am still awake. To many emotions...can't sleep. Okay, im off now...I will see everyone in New Mexico!!! SSP!!!!</p>

I just woke up hehe, thought I'd post on here since no one in my family is awake. Almost 5 o'clock, and I have to leave my house by 5:30ish to get to the airport.
Hope everything goes smoothly for everyone going, don't want any lost baggage or anything...(i keep picturing a Meet the Parents type incident)</p>

lectures are okay, just really really long
I was very surprised at how clean the dorm bathrooms were, not at all as bad as i had imagined...then one day we went to the gym and we were checking out a basketball. We told the lady in charge that we were staying in the driscoll dorms, and she laughed at us, saying they were the girl's dorms. I now see why they were so clean to begin with.</p>
<p>Wow...I still can't believe that SSP '05 is underway! It's crazy...totally doesn't feel like a year since I was there. </p>
<p>Two people got food poisoning?? What?? Seriously? I don't believe that. I hope that was sarcasm. </p>
<p>I remember the super long lectures...I could never stay awake, especially during the morning one, so I would get like a 24 oz cup of coffee every morning so I could at least keep my eyes open. </p>
<p>Well, I hope you're all having an awesome time. Tell Branwen (she is still the head T.A...right?) that Grey Squirrel and Red Baboon send greetings...she'll understand.</p>
<p>Well, if you're at Socorro and the lectures are still in the same room, there's an excellent spot in the back right of the room which serves as one's own private corner, ideal for sleeping.</p>
<p>Of course, this is only hearsay... of course.</p>
<p>Oh, and beware the moving wall. I had forgotten about the moving wall.</p>

<p>anyways glad you guys are having fun. Ive beent rying to get a job at the whittier hospital but to no avail so I think im gonna end up rotting away at home.</p>
<p>Steven got 2160 on his SAT lol so he says he is done along with his 780 and 800 lol. As for me, i stuidied 10 times more than last time for bio and i ended up with a 710 AGAIN but its all good. I guess it shows im a well rounded low scoring bio student since i got 710 in both e and m =P. </p>
<p>Im guessing this has become our means of communication so check everyday haha. herd misses you guys especially andrew. He IM's me everyday wanting to "chill" cause hes so bored lol.</p>
