I sent in my application to the University of St Andrews September 6th and received confirmation that they had gotten all the materials on September 29th. It’s November 10th and I still haven’t gotten an acceptance/denial email even though their website says that they respond after 4 weeks. Huge problem because if I don’t hear soon I have to remove my William & Mary Early Decision application!
Has anyone else had a similar problem this year or in the past? Has anyone received responses yet?
Contact them. I did a couple of years at a European U and the bureaucracy was snail slow.
My daughter submitted her UCAS on 9/26. Still no response. Very few people are reporting offers on TSR, too. I was greatly surprised that we heard back from UCL, but not St.Andrew’s…
Typically St. Andrews has been quicker in responses. Maybe they are getting more applications than in the past.
Why would you have to remove your W&M ED app? Would you attend St. Andrews over W&M?
We got a response today - unconditional. It took a while this year…
I got a response (finally) and it all seems to be working out with W&M.
Congrats- thanks for sharing your stats and experience- so helpful for those who will be going through the process next year.
