St. Bonaventure/GW Program

Happy to help!
At the end of the interview the questions you ask should definitely show your interest in the college AND in the major you’ve selected or about the program itself. For example, here are two of my questions:
“What research opportunities do i have in the chemistry department here? I am thinking about taking up a chem minor, since we have so much flexibility at Bona”
or
“At the end of junior year, do we still have to fill out the GW Med school application and write essays despite being accepted? Would it count against us to take the MCAT?”

@butterfli - how many programs did you apply to and where all have you gotten interviews so far? good luck with your interviews and the decisions to come!

i applied to 23 programs in total. I have gotten interviews to about 11 of them so far and am waiting on a handful more. thanks so much, good luck to you too! I see you are an avid bs/md’er as well!

I should add that these 11 interviews havent all been for med schools hahaha only undergrads (after initial screenings, so kinda like 2nd/3 rounds)

how many actual bsmd program interviews do u have excluding all these honors college and alumni kind of stuff?

none of them have been honors or alumni. all of them are for bs/md specifically - faculty that are on the bs/md admissions committee or the program directors.

wow so 11 interviews? i am sure u will get somewhere then

haha i hope so! But those were just undergrad interviews, not med schools. but i do have a few of those lined up, too. This whole process has too many interviews, in my opinion.

so how many med school interviews do u have then?

Albany, pitt, and penn state hershey and drexel (most probably, i was told by Robert morris since only 2 of us were forwarded).

^ this little over achiever is definitely going to get into a program

oh shut up!! sanguinee, you know i’m probably gunna come back on here in may and say im going to some community college out in the middle of PA with the cows. lol

u were one of the very few that got pitt! so i am sure u will go into your dream college. what is your undergrad college for albany? rpi?

penn state hershey? is that the same as penn state/jeff? and butterfli, you’re going to end up getting into more than one amazing program :P

hahahahah yeah right that’s going to be me in the middle of no where ga community college with cowboys and hillbillies

by the way, butterfli’s dream school fluctuates about 5 times each day so don’t believe her

@fallpsat thanks for the kind words  my undergrad is union. i guess i have leadership lol
@longlegs thank you, i sure hope so! its not the same as psu/jefferson. psu hershey med school has affiliations with wilkes university and elizabethtown college
@sanguinee dont listen to him!!! It fluctuates after interviews because i weigh them according to the feeling i get after i visit! emotional bonds are important :(

anyone interviewing on sat 26th? im nervous haha xD
hope to see some of you guys there! although i probably wouldn’t recognize you guys…

@butterfli123
when did you apply and when did you find out about Pitt? Did you find it out on the GAP portal or did you receive it by email?

@inevitable you should just scream “HEY YALL ANYONE FROM COLLEGE CONFIDENTIAL?” and then ask them their usernames. you’ll really shatter the ice

@sanguinee your southern accent just came out through a post and i think thats the funniest thing i have ever read on these forums ever!!!
@matrix i submitted my app on dec 15th and got notification on the GAP portal sometime in the first week of jan
